I was nervous to work with a florist for our small wedding, both because we were doing all our planning from thousands of miles away and because I didn't have a 100% clear vision of what I wanted. However, once I chatted with Vanessa, shared my floral likes and dislikes, and shared some photos for color inspiration, she took my lack of clear direction and totally ran with it, coming up with a bouquet, arch arrangement, and accents that blew me (and everyone else!) away. “We hired Vanessa and her team for our wedding on April 28, 2023. Vanessa is extremely kind, calm, and easy going. She was very professional during our first phone call but also really warm and knowledgeable about her craft. She gave me a lot of really great suggestions for our floral arrangements and was accommodating to my requests and budget. You can tell how passionate she is with her work and after our phone call I was so excited for our vision to come to life. When our wedding day came and I saw all of our flowers I was stunned. First of all, the ceremony space was more beautiful than I could've imagined. The natural backdrop of Paliku Gardens with touches of bright, vibrant, flowers was better than anything I could've asked for. It was so stunning. Every arrangement just popped so beautifully against the greenery of Paliku. My bridesmaids loved their bouquets - many guests told me they thought their bouquets were grand until they saw mine! My medium sized bouquet was such a dream and I couldn't believe that it was mine. I wish that I could've taken it back home with me! At the end of the night we got so many compliments on our florals. I used to browse the La Flor Instagram page everyday excitedly awaiting our wedding day. I was just so excited to see how everything would turn out and they definitely did not disappoint.
